This stoneware bowl has been wheel-thrown - left smooth on the inside and then slightly textured on the outside. Once bisque fired (the first firing), red iron oxide and black underglaze was applied to the exterior texture to create depth. The inside is glossy glazed with a translucent warm honey yellow 💛
It’s a really good size bowl for fruit or salad :) Photographs shows the bowl with 12 apples!
